Fullerton India Installs Micro Hybrid Wind Turbine to Power Junior School in Annur, Tamil Nadu


Annur, Tamil Nadu, India, Tuesday, April 02, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd, today commissioned a micro hybrid wind turbine to fulfil part of the power requirements of the KG Matriculation & Higher Secondary School at Annur, Tamil Nadu. This wind turbine of 600 W capacity along with a 250W Solar Panel will help the school run fans and lights during long power outages in the area. The installation was dedicated to the school today by Mr. Shantanu Mitra, MD & CEO of Fullerton India.

Fullerton India installed this hybrid wind & solar energy system at the Annur school, as part of its CSR initiative to spread awareness of renewable energy sources amongst children to initiate early adoption of environment friendly energy usage, amongst the community.
