Mindteck Reports Profit for Year-End 2014-15

Mindteck (India) Limited (BSE: MINDTECK), a global technology company, today reported its audited financial results for the Fourth Quarter and Year ended March 31, 2015.
 
Consolidated revenue for the year 2014-15 stood at Rs. 319.15 crore as against Rs. 328.81 crore for the previous year ended March 31, 2014. Net profit stood at Rs. 19.20 crore as against Rs. 18.61 crore for the previous year, registering a growth of 3.17%.
 
Consolidated revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 stood at Rs. 77.43 crore as against
Rs. 83.36 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year ended March 31, 2014. Net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 stood at Rs. 3.28 crore as against Rs. 4.08 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
 
During the board meeting held today, the Board of Directors recommended a 10% dividend for the financial year 2014-15.
 
“During the financial year 2014-15, Mindteck was transitioning to position the company for a future of sustainable and profitable growth. In this regard, we focused on streamlining the operations and putting together a strong management team. Our revenue has stabilized, profitability improved and we have also significantly strengthened our Balance Sheet,” commented Mr. Yusuf Lanewala, Chairman & Managing Director, Mindteck. Mindteck (India) Limited (BSE: MINDTECK), a global technology company, today reported its audited financial results for the Fourth Quarter and Year ended March 31, 2015.

Travelers everywhere will be able to instantly connect with 500 Marriott Hotels worldwide before, during and after their stays using the new Mobile Request option on the Marriott Mobile app.  Specifically designed to request services and amenities, the new feature is being introduced at 46 hotels today including eight* hotels in Asia Pacific (please refer to the appendix), and the entire global portfolio of Marriott Hotels this summer, which is flagship brand of Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAR).


Mobile Request will be available to the 50 million members of Marriott Rewards, the company’s loyalty program. Members who have upcoming reservations will be able to instantly communicate with their hotel in two ways. The industry-leading “Anything Else?” feature offers guests two-way chat functionality to have conversations in real time with the hosts at Marriott Hotels who can fulfill and confirm their requests. It also offers a drop-down menu with most requested services and amenities, such as extra towels and pillows. Introduction of the Mobile Request chat feature represents the broadest global communications rollout of its kind in the hotel industry.

In testing, Mobile Request proved beneficial for guests in transit who needed to request services and amenities before their hotel arrival, such as having a car service meet them at the airport. Guests on the road can simply tap once on the Marriott Mobile app icon and be instantly connected to their hotel, rather than having to find the hotel’s phone number and punch in ten or more digits. For guests who have checked in and might be in a business meeting or in their guest room rushing to get ready for an engagement, Mobile Request gives them immediate access to hotel staff, rather than having to call or visit the front desk. Of the more than 10,000 Mobile Requests made by guests during testing, 80 percent of guests chose the “Anything Else?” two-way chat option.
