element14's e-commerce Enhancements to Boost Engineers' Productivity in Asia Pacific

Thanks to a redesign in parametric search, customers can now group products for the search results page by any one of the attributes available, such as resistance, voltage, etc. This enhancement also lets customers group their search results by manufacturers, allowing for an overview and a comparison of the different manufacturers supplying similar products within the category. This functionality means engineers get the information they want faster and in the format that they find most convenient to use.
A unique service proposition to element14 is its multi-channel commerce capabilities allowing customers to transact via country specific e-commerce websites, telephone, fax or in person at the store. Now, through a new multi-channel order history function, the customer's order history is available to them online regardless of whether the order was made on the element14 website or via its other channels. This initiative provides a seamless ordering system, reduces time-consuming processes and accelerates time-to-market for the buyer.
element14's new predictive search capability now enables customers to see a suggested list of manufacturer names and part numbers as users start to key in characters into the search box, without having to complete typing the full search term. Customers will get a drop-down list to choose their search term quicker than before.
