'Marketing to the Millennial Indian' Seminar at IILM Lodhi Road
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Monday, November 29, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- IILM Institute for Higher Education organized a full day Marketing Seminar, 'Marketing to the Millennial Indian' on 27th November 2010 at Lodhi Road Campus. The Seminar was organized with a mandate of acquainting the students with the future Indian consumer, latest trends in innovations and technologies, developing the organization and its culture to stay competitive in consumer driven markets, along with advanced applications in the areas of marketing to both the rural and the urban consumers, 2010 and beyond. Mr. Santosh Desai, the first keynote speaker spoke about the changing Indian consumer and gave some new insights into the urban and rural market. He also mentioned about the Changing consumer spending patterns from an ideology of 'save today-spend tomorrow', to a mindset of spending in an unprecedented manner. The students also learned interesting facts about the rural market by Mr. Pradeep Kashyap, CEO, MART. Mr. Kashyap acquainted the students with the tremendous progress rural market has made in terms of its infrastructure, awareness and affordability and the transfer of the prosperity from urban to the rural consumer is bound to happen.
