New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, September 02, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- The maxiMum store co. presents "more in thought than in things." an Exhibition of Shutter Release - as part of its monthly line up. The photography exposition revolves around the instinct of assumptions in an attempt to interpret light, shadow, texture, shape, lines & subject beyond the obvious. Subjects vary from people, urban & rural landscape, nature, objects, portraits & abstracts.
The emphasis of the exhibition is on the semiotic translation of imagery, graphic quality and old school emotional appeal. Extempore equipment including point-and-shoot, mobile phone, 35mm film and digital single lens reflex cameras have been used for the images which highlights content & questions dependence of present day photography on pro-gadgetry.
These spectacular shots will be revealed from 4th Sept '09 to 11th Sept '09 for you to surf and purchase.
Ritesh Kumar, an alumnus of Triveni Kala Sangam and National Institute of Fashion Technology is an independent design professional and a photographer by interest and will showcase a series of assorted images captured over the span of 8 years in India, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
