Ingersoll Rand Appoints Venkatesh Valluri as President of India Operations


Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Friday, June 05, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Ingersoll Rand (NYSE: IR), the $13.0 billion globally diversified industrial technology company; today announced the appointment of Venkatesh Valluri as the President of its Indian operations.

Mr. Valluri will represent the India management board as its Chairman. He will also join the board of its publicly traded company, Ingersoll Rand India Limited as the non executive chairman.

Mr. Venkatesh Valluri was associated with the measurement Technology leader Agilent Technologies as its President & Country Manager for over 5 years where he successfully established a strong foot print for its business operations. Prior to Agilent, he held various leadership roles at GE (General Electric) in India and overseas.
