Abhijit C Nair’s short thriller movie, ‘Gajrewali’, was handpicked by none other than the storyteller extraordinaire Imtiaz Ali as the winning entry for the month, while the runner-up spot went to another crime thriller, ‘Diaries’, by Nishant Rana.
A 24-year-old aspiring movie director, Abhijith is a postgraduate in commerce from the University of Mumbai. He is currently working as a Creative Producer with a production firm called Boom Man Studios to develop and understand various nuances involved in the filmmaking process. Nishant Rana, on the other hand, is the Co-founder & Director of Boom Man Studios. A long-time filmmaking enthusiast, he has directed digital ads and web shows for brands such as Kohinoor Rice, Pro Kabaddi League, RBL, nykaa.com and Souq.com.
