After successful Hannover Messe Partner Country Programme this year, the Indian edition WIN INDIA focused on “Integrated Industry” as India’s model for Smart Manufacturing
WIN INDIA, the Indian edition of Hannover Messe and also India’s leading trade fair exhibition on high tech engineering, manufacturing technologies and intra-logistics, inaugurated its three-day exhibition today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Department of Heavy Industries (DHI), Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise, Government of India has partnered with WIN INDIA as the co-host for the event. DHI has collaborated with FICCI to be the lead agency for executing the partnership for WIN India 2015. This partnership will work jointly towards promoting India’s high tech engineering and capital goods manufacturing industry as a part of Government of India’s ‘Make In India’ campaign.
WIN INDIA is set to showcase 400+ companies and exhibit 4000+ products and country participation from Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan and Korea with an expected visitor turn out of more than 15,000 across India.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Anant Geete, Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, Ms. Daniela Behrens, State Secretary, Lower Saxony Ministry for Economics, Labour and Transport, Shri Rajan S. Katoch, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, Dr. Didar Singh, Secretary General, FICCI, Mr. Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President Deutsche Messe AG and Managing Director Hannover Fairs International, Hannover / Germany, Mehul Lanvers-Shah, Managing Director, Hannover Milano Fairs India.
Paving the way for Smart Manufacturing, bringing together world-class technologies and machinery from India and across the globe, WIN INDIA 2015 is bringing together 4 concurrent shows. Special events at WIN India will be CeMAT Applications Park, Automation Application Park, WIN Industry Summit and Automation Training Zone in association with Automation Industry Association. Leading manufacturing giants as well as SMEs will be demonstrating complete range of products and services, from Hydraulics and Pneumatics to Electro-Mechanical Transmission, automation components to process and factory automation systems, materials handling equipments to logistics infrastructure systems. Surface technology products to electroplating and surface engineering techniques. These shows will be special attractions for the industry.
Lower Saxony’s undersecretary, Ms. Daniela Behrens, is leading the business delegation from Lower Saxony to visit WIN INDIA with the specific goal of meeting Indian companies and intensifying Lower Saxony’s economic relations with India. This is a direct result of India’s Partner Country appearance in Hannover, which is the capitol of Lower Saxony. Learning that there are numerous investment and cooperation opportunities in India, the delegation made it a conscious effort to visit WIN India 2015.
