Amar Ujala Publications Ltd., won the Ink Awards 2015 for its unique campaign ‘Hindi Hai Hum’, held in Mumbai last week. The campaign focused on the rich heritage of the national language. The awards, won by Amar Ujala were in two categories. The first one was for Best Copyrighting - Campaign and the second category was for Best Creative Advertising - Single Ad or Campaign - Not for Profit and Public Service.
Commenting on the result Mr. Probal Ghosal, Director, Amar Ujala Publications Ltd. (AUPL) said, “The social angle of the campaign was to spread awareness amongst the audience to value and explore Hindi language. We try to create marketing programs and advertising campaigns that speak the language of the readers. Our communication tends to be fresh, and insightful. This is the second time in a row that Amar Ujala has won the INK awards. In the first edition, 2014 Amar Ujala won The Best Campaign – Regional for ‘Beti Hi Bachayegi’.
