Germany’s AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement- a network of key industry players for technical innovations has announced support to India’s premium business platform for manufacturing sector professionals - SPS Automation India, Motek & Control India.
The three high-technology fairs which made their debut in India this year, garnered tremendous support from Gujarat government, industry associations and media houses for drawing attention to high-quality manufacturing technologies that can help Indian companies attain manufacturing excellence. The second edition of these co-located technology fairs is scheduled from 7 – 9 April at the Helipad Grounds in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
India’s evolving industrial landscape focused on increasing productivity and efficiency, zero effect, zero defect, ensuring global quality and safety standards will see high technology adoption in the coming years. One of the tactical missions for economic development set out by the new Indian dispensation through ‘Make-in-India’ calls for greater technology integration. The Prime Minister’s recent visit to Germany also sends out the strong message of India’s sustained process of industrialisation, technical upgradation and advancing Indo-German partnership. Against this optimistic background, Messe Frankfurt India and AMA Association have once again joined hands to continue to work together towards bringing advanced solutions best suited to the needs of Indian manufacturers.
Mr. Krause, Chairman of the AMA Association’s Executive Board: “We anticipate a growing demand for sensor technology in India, largely due to the escalating need of automation in Indian industries and ongoing developments in electronics, automotive, safety and other fields. We want to leverage this potential opportunity through this combined technology platform and believe that it can benefit automation and sensor technology players in a major way.” He further added, “Messe Frankfurt’s technology platforms are known world over for their professional networking environment and targeted prospects and we are happy to extend our support for the forthcoming edition.”
According to a recently-released TechSci Research report, India’s sensors market is estimated to grow at over 20% in the next five years. Moreover, the government aims to make USD 15 billion (INR 96165 crores) Internet of Things industry in India by 2020. Not only is this an opportune time to enter the Indian market, but this well strategised trade fair alliance covering all aspects of automation and quality assurance will provide technology companies a platform to establish business relations in one of the fast growing automation markets in the world.
Independently, SPS Automation India 2016 will be dedicated to industrial automation and applied solutions whereas Motek India will cover automation in production and assembly line. Control India, on the other hand, will cover solutions in inspection and quality assurance. Together, the three shows will target multiple end user sectors such as automotive, auto-components, gems and jewellery, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, petrochemical etc. enabling collaborations and knowledge sharing at a global level.
