Lt. General (Dr) Vimal Arora (Retd.), Chief Clinical Officer, Clove Dental. “Through Clove Dental Heritage, we will be able to address three issues – community services, training, and research. Initial steps have already been taken in the shape of engagement with over 33,000 students in 52 Delhi NCR schools, 12 dental camps for over 1,020 underprivileged adults and children. Clove Dental Heritage will add to these initiatives by introducing the Skill Development perspective where doctors & technicians will be offered training in various types of latest technologies, dental best practises, lab & prosthetic work, and ensuring the highest skilled talent pool in the dental field. Clove Dental Heritage will serve as the research wing, analysing clinical data to draw evidence-based inferences.”
Clove Dental Heritage: Three Key Pillars Research: The
Clove Dental network has grown to include 57 clinics and two mobile clinics. The Clove Dental team is 165 doctors strong, with over 70 specialists from every field of dentistry. The team represents a diverse and growing pool of talent with a range of interests that include peri-implantitis, probiotics in dental therapy, and the link between tooth loss and dementia. Clove Dental Heritage will serve as a research centre for its dentists and the wider dental community. This will enable Clove to continue in its role as an industry thought leader.
Training: As the Clove Dental network continues to expand, it must ensure that its high standards for clinical excellence and clinical hygiene and safety are maintained in every clinic. Clove will achieve this through Clove Dental Heritage, which will serve as a training facility for its dentists when they join Clove, and throughout their careers as Clove dentists. Clove Dental Heritage will train its doctors in the latest technology and clinical best practices, and in soft skills that enhance their well-established ability to address oral health issues of any kind. In addition to the doctor’s training, as a part of its Skills Development Initiative, Clove Dental Heritage also plans to offer training for technicians employed in various types of lab and prosthetic work.
Community Services: The provision of treatment to underserved groups complements Clove’s community outreach activities, which include camps for the needy. Since January 2014, Clove has conducted 12 dental camps for over 1,020 underprivileged adults and children. Hosted at organizations such as the Mother Theresa Orphanage, the Happy School in Gurgaon, and the United Nations International Association Kindergarten, the camps provided much-needed check-ups and educational information for all patients and subsidized treatment for a majority of them. As a part of this initiative, Clove Dental Heritage also plans to adopt a number of Delhi NCR schools for underprivileged children. Under the initiative, Clove will provide comprehensive dental health care to the students of these schools.
Clove Dental Clove Dental, a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK and Delhi NCR’s largest dental network, was launched in 2011 to bring world-class dental care to India. Clove Dental also has three clinics in the Chandigarh Tri-city Area, and plans to expand further in both Delhi NCR and Punjab this year.
The Clove Dental team of over 165 dental professionals is trained across all oral healthcare specialties, and is fully qualified to address any oral healthcare issue. Clove Dental clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment and Clove dentists adhere to the highest international standards for hygiene.
