India Japan Conclave: Two Nations, One Goa
l will be held on Tuesday, 2nd Sept 2014 between 11:00AMto 2:00 PM.

This conclave is the part of the ongoing initiatives of India Center to catalyze the process of India Japan Global Partnership. This would further the strong and historic partnership between India and Japan. The conclave will take place at Hotel Chinzanso, Tokyo, Japan and will bring together around 1000 key policy makers, business leaders from India and Japan.  (We are oversubscribed). A contingent of over 100 prominent business leaders from India have traveled to participate in this conclave.

Prime Minister of India – Hon. Mr. Narendra Modi would be addressing the esteemed gathering. This conclave.  This is Shri Narendra Modi’s first visit to Japan as Indian Prime Minister and it will add a new chapter to the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Discussions in the conclave would also focus on the evolution of the development & cooperation model between India and Japan which is based on the framework of Relationship (R), Mechanism (M), &Economy (E). The discussion at Conclave will be based and focused on business and policy framework which will be built around energy efficiency, environmental responsibility and sustainability (EES) and will also contribute towards empowering societies not only in India and Japan but across the globe.

As India embarks on the journey of its socio- economic development with special focus on the development of its infrastructure including road, railways, development of smart cities etc. – Japan as the global partner has a very important role to play in India’s nation building. Japanese participants of the Conclave are looking enthusiastically to interact with their various counter parts from India and the Indian Prime Minister - Mr. Modi
