HCG Foundation, the charity arm of Healthcare Global Enterprise, in association with Infosys Foundation launched the Mobile Cancer Clinic, staffed with a doctor, nurse and paramedical staff, is equipped with Mammography, X –Ray system, Ultrasound system, Pathology and Lab. The mobile cancer clinic will start by providing cancer care in North Karnataka.
The “Mobile Cancer Clinic” was inaugurated by Mrs. Sudha Murthy, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation.
Mrs. Sudha Murthy, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation, on the inauguration of the mobile clinic said “It gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate the 1st Mobile Cancer Clinic for North Karnataka. This will be an immense boon to people who hitherto would not have had access to quality cancer care in the remote areas. If this model works, I’m willing to donate another mobile cancer clinic."

This unique initiative of starting the 1st Mobile Cancer Clinic in North Karnataka, creating accessibility to advanced cancer screening and cancer care, helps in early diagnosis. The incidence of head & neck cancer and cervical cancer is high in rural areas, with early diagnosis we can find better approach to cancer treatment.”
