The prime objective of the event was to showcase benefits and growth in adoption of cloud services with focus on AWS, a global leader in cloud computing. Global spending on public cloud services is expected to grow to US $131 billion in 2013. The event included a talk from Amazon team on Content Distribution Network (CDN) service CloudFront, which recently launched its end points in India. There was also a case study on American Swan (a premium online fashion & lifestyle brand) which talked about how cloud computing helped it focus on key business rather than worrying about infrastructure cost & application performance for its unpredictable and non-uniform traffic.
