Pune, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- With the advent of foreign Direct Investment, India has become a focused playground for foreign players. Keeping in line with this development, the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMSUG) (Undergraduate) -a constituent unit of Symbiosis International University is organising a Two Day International Conference on the theme "Issues and Challenges in Retail Sector and Foreign Direct Investment in India and across the World" at its centre in Viman Nagar, Pune on February 15 - 16, 2013.

This conference aims at exploring the viewpoints of experts from industry and academia on foreign direct Investment and retail scenario in India and across the Globe. The Conference is being presided over by the Hon'ble Padma Bhushan Dr. S.B Mujumdar, Founder & President, Symbiosis Chancellor, Symbiosis International University. Mr.Yogesh Gupta, IPS, chairman and MD Kerala Finance Corporation will be the chief guest at the conference.

Dr A.D.N.Vajpai, Vice Chancellor, University of Himachal Pradesh, will be the guest of honour at the event. The keynote speakers will be eminent people from the industry and the academia.
