CarDekho Sees Over 50 Percent Rise in Online Car Buyers in 2012
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- CarDekho.com saw 52.1 percent growth in online car buyers in 2012 as compared to 2011 based on analytics data. Over 25 million unique visitors researched cars at the portal and on an average each visitor visited the site twice taking the total traffic count to over 50 million. Each visitor spent over 7 minutes researching at the portal. Data indicates how car-buying behavior in India is evolving with online research playing an important role. Last year same month of January, CarDekho had announced achieving 3 crore unique visitors mark in less than 4 years which was the fastest any auto portal has done in India.
