Web-based solution to ensure safe adoption of BYOD

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Thursday, December 20, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, today announced the launch of a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution as part of its product Desktop Central, for the Indian market. This web-based mobile device management solution will ensure safe adoption of BYOD (bring-your-own-device) along with information security related to company given devices for corporates.

With the increase in the usage of smartphones and tablets hitting the Indian market, most employees can now access official documents through their mobile devices from anywhere. Also, the shipment of mobile handsets to India crossed 100 million in the first half of 2012.
