Basicslife Achieves Record Sales with Google India's Great Online Shopping Festival
Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Friday, December 14, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- The popular menswear online store, Basicslife.com recorded a 120% sales increase on the day of the Great online shopping festival (GOSF), making it the ecommerce site's largest retail day in history. Basicslife received online orders from 80 cities and towns across India.
GOSF is an attempt to recreate the traffic and sales of 'Cyber Monday' in the US, when online retailers offer deep discounts and deals to boost their festive sales.
