Exelixi to Promote The Simba Store at Franchise India 2012
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, November 01, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Exelixi Management Company, the specialists that set up and run new businesses are participating in the 10th International Franchise and Retail show - Franchise India 2012. The exhibition is being organized at PragatiMaidan, New Delhi on 3rd and 4th November. Exelixi will be promoting The Simba Store, a franchising opportunity in the fast-expanding toys & games space. This opportunity has been developed in partnership with SimbaDickie Group, one of the world's largest Toy Company.
Exelixi took up the master franchisee rights to The Simba Store for India and has already opened 4 stores across the country. Exelixi's business model for Simba Store is to build a franchise driven network as it allows them to focus on their core competencies (Branding, Marketing, Training, IT and Audit), and relies onthe local partner (franchisee)to manage day-to-day store operations efficiently. Other than providing overall support, Exelixi intends to hand-hold its franchisees through the initial part of setting up and running the store.
"Over the long term, Exelixi's aim is to build a portfolio of international retail brands in consumer categories where we sense a gap in the Indian market. The first retail brand in this portfolio is The Simba Store, where we want to build a pan-India presence over the next 2-3 years", said AmitChaudhary,Designation & Founder Exelixi Management. "TheSimba Store targets a growing industry, boasts of great products, fantastic licenses, lots of fun and an excellent business opportunity. We have successfully launched a few stores over the last quarter and we think Franchise India 2012 provides us a great platform to extend this opportunity to other entrepreneurs interested in this category", he further added.
Over a short period, Exelixi has successfully established 4 operational Simba Stores with two in Bangalore, one in NCR and one in Mumbai. New stores are likely to come up in Mumbai and Bangalore soon. The Simba Store offers an international shopping experience, best quality & safe products, aggressive pricing and around the year activity calendar for kids. The Simba Store has access to more than 80 brands and 6000+ SKUsfrom the Simba-Dickie Group portfolio. New brands from this portfolio are being introduced every month to ensure that there is freshness in the collection throughout and the customers can expect a constant stream of products. A significant marketing effort is being aligned to support the Simba stores with a good mix of ATL/BTL campaigns, with local, regional, and national strategic tie-ups.
"Our entry in the toys & games segment has been after a lot of thought, research and two years of on-the-ground work. A lot of other international brands have already expressed an interest in entering India through us, but our focus as of now is The Simba Store", said Prasar Sharma, Designation & Co-Founder Exelixi."The objective behind launching Simba stores is to take good quality products closer to the quality conscious, mass to semi-premium TG across all cities in India that desires well known brands, but do not have easy access to them", he further added.
