Icertis Appoints Renowned Strategist and Technology Investor, Vijay Vashee, to its Board of Advisors


Pune, Maharashtra, India, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Icertis, the leading provider of enterprise solutions in the Microsoft cloud, today announced the appointment of Microsoft veteran, Vijay Vashee to its Board of Advisors. As part of his new role, Vijay will provide direction and guidance as the company rapidly expands its products, services, and geographic footprint.

Having begun his career at Microsoft in 1982, Vijay is credited with successfully launching several of its key software products and driving significant milestones for Microsoft in its developing years. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and is also a member of the Computing and Information Science Advisory Council as well as the Cornell University Entrepreneurship Council and the University of Chicago Entrepreneurship Board. In addition, Vijay is the founder of the Seattle chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a not-for-profit organization that supports and mentors budding entrepreneurs. He is an active contributor to the community and is also a private investor, serving on the Board of Directors of various start-ups.
