'Virtual Tree-plantation campaign on Facebook' successfully completed with 10,332 actual trees planted

Pune and Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- An innovative tree-plantation drive started by Marvel Realtors - (Pune's most widely recognized premium green developer) on June 5th, 2012 in order to make surrounding environment greener and sustainable has been successfully completed today. Through this endeavor, over 10,000 trees were planted during a campaign of seven days in various parts of Pune. This interactive campaign was run on the Facebook page of Marvel Realtors during that period. The objective of the campaign was to create awareness and involve people to contribute towards a greener environment. For every tree planted virtually on Marvel's Facebook page, an actual tree was donated to select NGO's and schools in Pune.

The 'Virtual Tree-plantation Campaign' started off on June 5th, 2012 was successfully completed on June 11th, 2012 receiving an encouraging response across the nation. Planted trees have already been donated to various schools/colleges and NGO's in Pune. Some of the names include, BAIF Development Research Foundation - Warje, (FLAME) Foundation for Liberal and Management Education- Lavle Village, Yerwada School, Pune Tree Watch and many more.
