The Iconic MINI Arrives in Delhi
Bird Automotive launched; MINI Financial Services launched in India
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, June 06, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- MINI India announced the opening of Bird Automotive, its first dealership in Delhi.
The new Bird Automotive dealership is located at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The dealership will display the MINI Hatch, MINI Convertible and MINI Countryman. The dealership is headed by Mr. Gaurav Bhatia, Managing Director, Bird Automotive.

Bird Automotive Vasant Kunj, is an exclusive MINI dealership that offers a display area of over 5000 sq ft. It has a six car display set-up spread across two floors. The new MINI dealership has been uniquely designed in a modern urban layout that represents the iconic MINI Lifestyle. Alongside its loft architecture, the dealership also has a MINI DJ Lounge, MINI Lifestyle Collection and MINI Accessories on display.

MINI Financial Services Launched
MINI Financial Services is launched as a separate brand under BMW Financial Services India. MINI Customers can now avail attractive finance and insurance options under MINI Financial Services. In addition, MINI Financial Services will also offer a comprehensive insurance package: MINI Smile (similar to BMW Secure) which will be a value-add for MINI customers over and above their basic motor insurance.
MINI India
The BMW Group introduced MINI as a premium brand in India in January 2012. With the launch of MINI, MINI Convertible and MINI Countryman, the MINI range is available in India as CBU (completely built-up) units.
An exclusive MINI dealer network will be established in India for this purpose. In the start-up phase, BMW Group will concentrate on successfully establishing the MINI brand in India. MINI India will establish three exclusive outlets in the Indian market: Deutsche Motoren and Bird Automotive in Delhi (National Capital Region) and Infinity Cars in Mumbai.
MINI dealerships will display MINI (MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S), MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper S Countryman which are available in six-speed automatic transmission with powerful and efficient petrol variants.
