Pawan Nahar Joins Religare from CLSA


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Religare Capital Markets Limited (RCML), the Investment Banking and Institutional Equities arm of diversified financial services group Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), today announced the appointment of Pawan Nahar as Director- Institutional Sales. He will be based at RCML's Mumbai office and will report into Gautam Trivedi, Managing Director & Head of Equities, Religare Capital Markets Ltd.

Pawan joins RCML with over 12 years of diverse experience in Institutional Equities, both in Research and in Sales. Most recently he was with CLSA India as part of their India Equity Sales Desk and has covered many of the largest domestic and foreign institutions including Sovereign Wealth Funds. Pawan has been rated as No. 2 in 2010 and 2011, No. 3 in 2009 and No. 6 in 2008 in Asia Money Polls for India equity sales.

Prior to CLSA, Pawan worked with Kotak Institutional Equities as a Research Analyst covering Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Sector where he was rated amongst Top 10 analysts in India by Business Today magazine in June 2006. He has also worked with SSKI Securities Pvt. Ltd and Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd during his career span.

Pawan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Nirma Institute of Management.
