Schönberg, Germany, Friday, November 25, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- S+S Separation and Sorting Technology GmbH, headquartered in Schönberg, Bavaria, recently has started a cooperation with the Brazilian company ELO in Barueri, a city with a population of 274,000, 25 kilometres northwest of Sao Paulo, in the form of a service partnership. The manu-facturer of metal detection and sorting technology systems thus further expands its global pres-ence and continues to strengthen its comprehensive network of sales and service locations.
Customers in Brazil and all of South America who use systems of S+S have the advantage of competent and fast on-site professional support for their high-quality systems "made in Ger-many". S+S export manager Erwin Trauner is pleased to have ELO as a new member in the service network: "With the new service partner in Brazil we can provide optimal customer ser-vice throughout South America close to our users. And we can even faster and more compe-tently support our customers in the long-term securing of their product quality."
Training at S+S in Schönberg
The two ELO engineers Carlos Henrique Napholes Sila and Jose Fernando Nunes stayed at S+S in Schönberg for one week to undergo training. They acquired comprehensive know-how for the safe operation and maintenance of metal detection and sorting systems. Napholes Sila and Nunes now are proficient in inductive metal detection technology, in contaminant detection on X-ray basis, and in sorting technologies.
Information about ELO
ELO has its own workshop and has already before been performing customer service for sev-eral international companies (such as SIEMENS, Battenfeld-Cincinnati). They perform mainte-nance and repair work for all brands. On request ELO also performs on-site service for S+S systems. The range of services ELO provides for S+S also includes consulting and training for metal detection processes. The service center presently has 20 employees, including nine en-gineers, and is the first point of contact for customers from all of South America. Barueri is one of Brazil's richest cities which apart from the automotive industry and engineering industry also features textile, chemical, food, and other industries and is home to many European companies such as e.g. Motan and Bizerba.
