DST Worldwide Services Celebrates Warshik Sammelan
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, Tuesday, November 01, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- DST Worldwide Services, a provider of industry-leading technology and business process outsourcing services, had a day to remember as it celebrated Warshik Sammelan on October 1, 2011. With close to 2,500 associates and family members attending, the day was filled with a number of festivities and was held at the prestigious Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. Mr. Krish V. Krishnan, President of DST Worldwide Services, along with senior management, inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The colorful event was kicked off with games and stalls and the kids' zone was active and full of smiles and laughter. The masala popcorn stall was popular, and the traditional welcome dance enthralled the crowd.
The cultural activities were well organized, planned and performed. From the make-up, dance moves, skits, and group dance depicting the national integrity to the exceptionally well- managed Multi Cultural Fashion Show (based on the Bollywood trend), the audience was hooked. It all clearly displayed both the camaraderie and efforts put in by the associates. Another activity to be remembered is the children's fancy-dress event, where children dressed like Lion, Magadheera, and Jhansi rani to name a few.
Long term service awards were presented to 7 associates who have completed 10 years of service at DST. Additional awards were presented to 46 associates recognized for completing 5 years of service.
