Built on Canon's MEAP (Multi-functional Embedded Application Platform), Canon's imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 Series offers all-in-one multifunction capabilities, including simultaneous copying, printing, scanning and document distribution. MEAP, further, enables powerful applications for workflow management and full document accounting as enterprise needs develop.

Advanced Functionality Now

The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 Series offers print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) and consistently delivers high image quality for text and images at speeds of up to 30 pages-per-minute (ppm). The series can also be connected directly to a user's workstation using the standard USB 2.0 High Speed port, or leveraged as a shared network resource through a highly efficient 1000/100BaseTX/10 Base-T Ethernet interface. A standard 80 GB hard disk is available to provide storage and spooling facilities for network printing, improving printing efficiency. There is also an option to add the hard disk to Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2020. In addition, secure printing options are available to provide a higher level of document security.

The imageRUNNER ADVANCE series supports optional Super G3 fax functionality for high-speed fax transactions. The 2-line fax feature is capable of handling large volumes of fax documents, while ensuring lesser busy signals and greater connectivity. With the optional Remote Fax Kit, users can send fax through other fax-capable imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices in the network, even if it does not have a fax-board installed. This is a great tool for businesses to achieve significant cost and time savings through the innovative leverage and use of infrastructure without any duplication.

Multi-Format Document Support

Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 models are capable of quickly scanning and sending both black and white and color documents at 44 images-per-minute (ipm) in TIFF, JPEG and PDF formats to e-mail addresses or file folders (SMB/FTP) on a network. With Canon PDF High Compression mode on the new devices, color images can be handled efficiently over the network while maintaining image quality. This is especially useful when sending as email attachments, overcoming mail size limitations or when archiving since it consumes much lesser disk space. Reader extension support also enables users to scan and convert paper documents, directly into PDF formats that support annotations and markup functionality without any additional software cost. This improves document collaboration with the ability to share and review electronically.

A clear, intuitive Full Color SVGA TFT Control 5.7 inch control panel ensures effortless operation at all times and offers a customizable menu for an enhanced user experience. The Control Panel features a Quick Menu key that will enable users to improve and simplify their workflow, as well as share frequently used jobs or functions within a workgroup with a touch of one single button. This allows the user to easily harness the power of advanced features through its incredibly easy to use interface.
