Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- JWT India today announced the appointment of Tarun Chauhan as the Managing Partner & Senior Vice President JWT Mumbai. In his leadership role, he will be responsible for JWT Mumbai and ensure future leadership in the market, and continued successful growth for JWT.

Tarun has vast experience of over two decades in advertising. Prior to joining JWT, Tarun was with Lowe for 9 years. In 2007, He joined Lowe Mumbai as Vice President and went on to become the Executive Director. In 2010, he was designated - President of Lowe India, managing all businesses apart from Unilever. He was responsible for Lintas Production (Content, Production, Marketing & Talent Management) and driving new business across the group. He currently works with some of India's largest advertisers across categories like Automobiles (Bajaj Auto), Telecom (Idea Cellular), Social Awareness (ICICI Usaid), Tata Group (Tata Tea, Tata Retail, Ginger Hotels). Before joining Lowe, Tarun was with JWT and was part of the team that set up Thompson Connect, now integrated within JWT.
