Routes to Roots with ICCR to Celebrate 'Year of India' in China!!
Routes to Roots is Organizing the Journey of Indian Cinema in China

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Saturday, June 19, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Crossing the borders of cultures and religions, proliferating the message of burry the hatchet, India and China are celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relationship. To celebrate the established relationship, Routes to Roots in association with ICCR is organizing an Exhibition "Journey of Indian Cinema in China". The festival will be inaugurated on 24th June at Broadway Cinematheque Moma, Beijing. Starting in Beijing the month long festival will also be organized in Chongqing from 6th - 12th July and Guangzhou from 16th-22nd July. A delegation of 20 legends of Indian Cinema in likes of Yash Chopra, Bobby Bedi, Rahul Bose, Aparna Sen, Manmohan Shetty will be present at the inaugural ceremony of the festival.

Known for bringing the hearts of people together, Routes to Roots has taken the initiative to celebrate the 60 years relationship. The Journey of Indian Cinema will be depicted in the 3 eras of -Silent, Golden and Contemporary through Posters, Collarges and audio visual films. Starting with the screening of 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye' the fest will be followed by regional cinema by Directorate of Film Festival.

The initiative of Roues 2 Roots is going to be an added leaf in the history of India and China relationship with escalation of cross boarder cultural exchanges and in particular showcasing Bollywood in China says, Rakesh Gupta of Routes 2 Roots.
