It is estimated that almost 80% of world economy revolves around services. Increasingly, customers are requesting service providers to demonstrate CMMI® maturity rating to differentiate. CMMI®-SVC, provides a time tested model for process improvement with a well defined maturity path, to help service provider organizations manage, establish, and deliver services in a streamlined way, using all of the details, learnings and rigor of the CMMI® family. It is a domain neutral model, and is applicable in any service provider organization including BPO, telecom, IT, hospitality, healthcare or any other . It can be applied to guide improvement across services, divisions and even entire organizations.
Mr. Navyug Mohnot, CEO, QAI, said, "Implementation of process improvement models in service industry becomes more obvious as it has emerged as the largest and fastest-growing sectors in the world economy. Making it a mandate to constantly measure and streamline organizational processes to pace up with the ever growing challenges of the global market. CMMI®-SVC places proven practices into a structure that helps a service organization to assess its organizational maturity and process area capability, establish priorities for improvement, and guide the process improvement initiative."
