The CarWale Vintage and Classic Car Drive Now on December 20th 2009


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, December 03, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Keeping in mind the enthusiastic response of participants for The CarWale Vintage Wheels - The Vintage and Classic Car Drive, the event had to be pushed from the erstwhile date of December 6, 2009 to December 20, 2009. The organizers are concerned about the unprecedented number of people who have shown interest, and reconsidering the logistics for the same, which has led them to take this decision of postponing the event date.

CarWale Vintage Wheels - The Vintage & Classic Car Drive is the first of its kind event in Navi Mumbai. Carwale.com is India's premier online Auto selling portal, the event is organized by Sportscraft, the event would bring together Vintage car owners who would drive in their pre-1960's cars to Khandala, and share their experiences. The drive would culminate into a Brunch and interactive session for the participants at the Duke's Retreat, Khandala. From a Ferrari to a Fiat, any car of the pre-1960 make classifies as Vintage and is expected to participate.

The Vintage Car Drive is not a contest or a race. It is just a drive down the fixed route from Nerul (Navi Mumbai) to Khandala, and back. The registrations for participation will now close on 15th December'09 and maximum of 50 entries would be accepted on first come first serve basis. A minimal entry fee of Rs 1500 would be charged per car.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the response and excitement of public some of the vintage beauties would be on display at Inorbit, Vashi on from 4th December 2009 to 20th December 2009.
