The virtual tour has been created by integrating 3D graphics with high-tech flash animation. The simulated 3D environment allows users to have a 'real time' experience of traveling in the Dubai Metro. Based on the four Metro station themes of Fire, Water, Air and Earth, the virtual environment allows users to explore and travel in and around lifelike versions of these stations using Metro trains.

The website also incorporates exciting flash-based games that test users' knowledge of the Dubai Metro.
