ESPN STAR Sports Flags off FIM Motocross and SuperMoto World Championship Across Asia
Motorsports Fans to Look Forward to a revved-up List of Exciting Motocross Action on ESPN STAR Sports
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, October 22, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Asia's biggest sports content provider ESPN STAR Sports announced today its three-year multi-platform partnership with Youthstream, FIM's Motocross World Championship commercial rights holder and promoter, to showcase the FIM Motocross and SuperMoto World Championship on its various platforms, across Asia, from 2009 to 2011.
The FIM Motocross World Championship is the premier worldwide motocross racing championship series, and features distinct and thrilling classes, such as the MX1 (450cc), MX2 (250cc), MX3 (650cc) and the WMX (Women's World Motocross Championship). The SuperMoto World Championship involves S1 (450cc) and S2 (more than 500cc) motocross bikes classes, which races on off-road and road track conditions.
ESPN STAR Sports will kick-off the broadcast with the highlight programmes of the FIM Motocross and the SuperMoto events in the lead up to next year's season. For the upcoming 2010 season ESPN STAR Sports will broadcast the full FIM Motocross and SuperMoto Championships live and delayed, as well as all highlight programs of both series.
