Suresh Haware Announces the Launch of 'Change - Navi Mumbai Citizen Journalist Photo Contest 2009'
Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Monday, August 24, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Shri. Suresh Haware, Leader BJP, today announced "Change - Navi Mumbai Citizen Journalist Photo Awards 2009", a contest that recognize the best shot photos on the value of social issues related to the day to day activities in Navi Mumbai.
This contest is being organized to create awareness and to speak up for what is right, according to Shri. Suresh Haware "Today's generation is more connected and socially responsible, especially the youth. This contest is just a start to create a platform for people to speak up and act for social / public changes, the change brought by them, the change for good!"
To participate log on to Shri. Suresh Haware's Blog at www.sureshhaware.com. Entry is free and candidates need to specify their contact details and description about the photo taken. Photo could be shot by any digital camera or mobile but should have good clarity.
To be eligible, submissions must be publicly available on the Internet - on a web site or in a digital repository. The entries will be moderated by expert journalist and 20 entries will be selected for nomination.
All the selected entries will be showcased in www.sureshhaware.com and visitors will be allowed to rate and vote for the entries. Winner will be selected by panel of expert Journalist with respect to the photo value, social issues significance and votes received from visitors.
The last date of entry will be 5th Sep. 2009. Winner will receive a 12inch DELL Laptop and second runner up will get a NOKIA Phone as prize. Winners will be felicitated in a grand Award Function.
