InfoPrint Solutions Appoints New Vice President to Lead its Asia Pacific Business


New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, May 20, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, announced the appointment of Christopher Reid as Vice President and General Manager of its Asia Pacific operations headquartered in Singapore. Previously the Director of Global Solutions, Reid takes over this role from Benoit Chatelard, who was recently appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East & Africa for the company.

Reid will be responsible for the strategic planning, business development and management of key functions for the region, including sales, channels, services, finance and marketing. In this role, he reports directly to Daisuke Segawa, President and CEO, InfoPrint Solutions Company. During his tenure as Director of Global Solutions, Reid demonstrated the ability to drive long-term strategic programmes for InfoPrint's global production print segment and helped shape the company's solutions focus around TransPromo, Automated Document Factory, Direct Mail and Print on Demand.

Reid holds a Bachelors Degree from The University of Western Ontario in London Ontario, Canada.
