FDPC and Apparel Brain Connect co-hosted a Fashion Show to Save the Planet
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Monday, May 18, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- FDPC and Apparel Brain Connect co-hosted an evening of go-green fashion show in the city yesterday. The fashion show was an ode to the global green fashion revolution. Globally renowned designer Katharine.E. Hamnett who has been knighted as "Queen of Green" by Vogue magazine also graced the occasion. Dr. J.N Singh - Joint Secretary Exports, Ministry of Textile was the guest of honor for the evening.
Katharine Hamnett has been working very closely on Organic since 1989 and her relationship with India based Vasudha Organic to promote organic & ethical fashion has been of tremendous support.

The evening culminated with a spectacular fashion show where leading designers like Raghavendra Rathore, Varun Bahl, Jai & Parvesh, and California based designer Kareena showcased their collection and pledged their support for ethical fashion in India.
