ISA Vision Summit 2009 Reiterates Optimism on the Way Forward in The Indian Semiconductor Industry
Vision Summit Concludes with a Number of Relevant Action Points
Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- The India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the trade body representing the Indian semiconductor made a good start on the second and concluding day of the Summit. The sessions today focused on areas and topics relevant to the success of the industry including, patterns in funding, the potential to harness alternate sources of energy like solar energy and methods to succeed in business in the current economy. Constructive and affirmative ideas were also shared towards seeding local technologies for domestic requirements.
The key takeaways of the summit include the emerging domestic market giving rise to India specific products and opportunities. Healthcare and Solar Photo Voltaic were emerging segments. The downturn also gave an opportunity for local companies to become global.
