Indian Toners and Developers Founder to Receive Hall of Fame Award at Recharger's ReIndia Expo


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, February 24, 2009 -- (Business Wire India) -- Sushil Jain, chairman and managing director of Indian Toners and Developers Limited (ITDL) will receive a Recharger Magazine Hall of Fame award at ReIndia Expo, March 5 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

Recharger's inaugural Hall of Fame was held last August at Recharger's World Expo in Las Vegas. Eight industry members, including Jain, were inducted into the Hall of Fame, which recognizes those industry members who have built their businesses into industry powerhouses, which then create a positive image of the industry through leadership and/or example.

Sushil Jain earned his mechanical engineering degree in 1981 from the Delhi College of Engineering. Starting his career as a manager in Jain Tube Company in 1982, he quickly rose to the position of vice president and soon after, executive director. Having inherited his entrepreneurial skills and business acumen from his industrialist family and being a technocrat with vision and a contemporary outlook, Jain seized the opportunity to manufacture toners in India, then an untapped market. It is said that if the dream is good, it shall come true. Jain's single-minded pursuit of this dream bore fruit in Indian Toners and Developers Ltd. ITDL emerged on the Indian scene as a pioneer and pace setting-company in this high-tech field. Commencing production of toners in 1992 with a modest capacity of 330 MT per annum, ITDL, under Jain's stewardship, grew almost eightfold to become now an impressive 2400 MT capacity toner company. ITDL manufactures world-class compatible black toners for photocopiers, laser printers, multifunction printers and various other upcoming digital reprographic machines for the domestic and export markets.
