Cartier to Sculpt Exclusive Winners' Trophy for the Champions League 2020


New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 -- (Business Wire India) -- The Champions League 2020 have commissioned world renowned French jeweller and luxury brand - Cartier, to create the trophy for the Winners of the Champions League 2020 to be played in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai from December 3 to 10, 2008. The exquisitely hand-sculpted trophy designed exclusively by Cartier for the Champions League 2020 will measure 41 cm in height, with a diameter of 31 cm and weigh just over 7 kilos. The trophy will be unveiled in December just prior to the inaugural match of the Champions League 2020.

The inaugural edition of the Champions League 2020 will offer teams US$6 million as prize money, making this the biggest prize in world cricket for the game.
