Cheer My Country: The users will be able to cheer for their country by playing Cheer Sounds and voting for their respective nations. They can also save new and innovative sounds which would be then available to other users to use as Cheer Sounds.
Event Schedule: The application will provide detailed schedule of events along with information related to various games and map view feature to facilitate the visitors in locating the venue in Games Village.
Commonwealth Photos: The application allows the users to take pictures of their athletes as they perform and share or upload photos while sharing their experiences with their friends and colleagues. This ensures access to latest happenings around the Game Village even in cases when the user is not physically present.

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Monday, October 04, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Allowing the use of fibre optics in potentially damaging environments, Fiberguide Industries introduces its new standard line of single fibre assemblies. Fiberguide's assemblies have proven effective in a number of scientific and industrial applications ranging from light measurement, process monitoring and control, to UV-VIS spectroscopy, chromatography and fluorescence.
Single fibre assemblies are available with two choices of chemical resistant, non-magnetic sheathing to fit customers' needs. For general purpose use, Fiberguide's furcation tubing is comprised of a Kevlar reinforced PVC sleeve over a polypropylene tube. Furcation tubing is non-conductive and protects fibres with a liquid-tight seal.
For more specialized applications, Fiberguide offers stainless steel monocoil sheathing. The monocoil is vacuum compatible and resistant to tight bending, crushing, cutting, kinking and high temperatures.
Both standard cable designs are rated for use at ambient temperatures. Single fibre assemblies are available with core sizes ranging from 50µ to 1000µ and wavelengths from deep UV (DUV) to UV-VIS and VIS-IR. Assemblies are also available upon request with ST and FC connectors, numerical apertures of 0.12 and 0.26, and continuous lengths up to 50 meters.

HDFC Bank Ties up with Chitkara University
To Impart Training in Banking Skills Through Joint Certification Program
Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, India, Saturday, October 02, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- HDFC Bank, one of India's premier banks, has tied up with Chitkara University to initiate a Joint Certification Program to train and equip its students with skills essential for the Banking sector. This initiative will create a ready talent pool to cater to the requirements of banking and financial institutions. In return, students will garner specialised skills to meet the expectations of potential employers and familiarise themselves with the operations of banking and financial institutions.
Through this initiative, HDFC Bank has already tied up with 44 B-Schools across India training 1400 students for various modules across the Banking and Finance verticals, such as Relationship Management, Retail Credit & Risk, Retail Banking and SME Banking.
This voluntary Joint Certification Program comprises of training sessions conducted over a period of 45 days where the students will have the opportunity to interact with professional trainers and senior management from HDFC Bank who will help them to acquire comprehensive knowledge about the industry. The students will also receive a certificate after successful completion of the course.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Ishlesh Bhaskar, Regional Head - Human Resources from HDFC Bank said, "There is a huge gap between skills that are available and those that are required by banks and financial institutions.
