After a bombastic showing in Madrid, the IIFA awards put an excellent show in Dubai for a world exclusive screening.
A World exclusive screening and Gala Celebration of the awards was held on Saturday the 9th of July 2016. This incredible evening of glitz and glamour will bring together the crème del la crème of Dubai’s elite and a smattering of Bollywood stars directly from the green carpet to toast IIFA’s year on year success and celebrate the very best of Indian Cinema as well as sit in with the guests and watch which famed movies and stars roped in the golden star bust this year. To add to the excitement, guests can look forward to some remarkable acts by Bollywood's beloved Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Tiger Shroff among others.

The exclusive screening was preluded by a special fashion extravaganza showcasing runway collections by homegrown label Meher & Riddhima. The reputed designer duo’s work has graced a number of celebrities to date. “We are excited about the association and honored to be a part of IIFA’s continued celebrations in Dubai. Pieces from our fall winter collection inspired by the Elizabethan era have already graced the Green carpet in Madrid and now we shared the same collection with glamorous audience in Dubai,” said Meher Mirchandani of Meher and Riddhima.
The event saw IIFA’s famous green carpet rolled out for the evening to walk Dubai‘s fashion set to the prestigious Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights.
