Brickwork Finance Academy (BFA)'s Fourth Batch of Students of BFA Level I and Level II Graduated Today & the Academy Inaugurated its Fifth Batch of Class 2017

Brickwork Finance Academy www.bfa-india.org organized convocation for the BFA Level I and Level II graduating batch of 2016, at their facility on Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru today. The academy also inaugurated the fifth batch of the BFA Level I & Level II program. Mr. V Vaidyanathan, Founder & Chairman, Capital First Limited, was the Chief Guest and presided over the event at their BFA campus in Bengaluru.


Shri V Vaidyanathan, while delivering the convocation address said, “I am pleased to be a part of the BFA convocation ceremony at the BFA campus in Bengaluru. The Academy has a robust infrastructure with a well-equipped classroom enabling virtual classrooms in major cities in India. An impressive curriculum comprising of banking, portfolio management, risk management and credit management provides a strong ability to the students in the financial sector with prospective career opportunities in commercial banks, investment banks and mutual funds etc. I wish the BFA Level I and Level II graduates a great finance career ahead”.

Delivering the Inaugural Address, Prof. K R S Murthy, Advisor BFA and former Director of IIMB, said, “I am glad that the BFA program uses highly qualified IIM and IISc. The BFA faculty, with their experience in the banking and credit rating industries, provides practical knowledge in credit, investment and risk management. Only 30% pass BFA Level II exams

The BFA 2016 batch candidates were primarily post graduates, CA, CFA, Engineers, M Tech, MSc, etc. About 60% of the candidates are MBA / Post Graduates and about 18% have passed various levels of CA, CS, and CFA, US.  Of the candidates who appeared for BFA exams, 60% cleared BFA Level I and only 30% could clear BFA Level II this year.

BFA LIVE & Internet program

Shri Vivek Kulkarni, while welcoming the new batch of candidates who have enrolled for BFA 2017 batch, said that BFA program is open to citizens all over the world. The program is available via internet and can be viewed at the convenience of the candidate in the comforts of home or office. One can see the program LIVE in class rooms in six cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Chennai.

There are four options to pursue BFA program. Students can attend 9-month weekend classes offered at Brickwork Finance Academy in Bengaluru. They can view the same classes via internet mode from anywhere. They can attend LIVE classes from six cities. Else, they can self-study and take the exams directly.

Banking & Financial Analyst (BFA) is a certification conferred upon by Brickwork Finance Academy. The certification is offered at two levels – Level I and Level II. The candidates who pass these exams would have higher level of analytical rigor, understanding of equity, fixed income, derivative markets, knowledge of Indian bank lending and mastery of credit and risk analysis. They could be absorbed as rating analysts, financial analysts, business analysts, credit analysts, risk analysts, loan officers, fixed income analysts in commercial banks, investment banks, mutual funds, insurance firms and pension funds. They can also be absorbed as business analysts in KPOs and IT firms in BFSI sector.

BFA has distinguished faculty with vast and relevant experience. Our faculty are from IIM, IISc, and hold PhD from the US universities. A few are CA, CPA, MBA and experienced bankers.
