Dr. Valson Thampu, Principal of St. Stephen’s College was the Chief Guest on the occasion. IILM Graduate School of Management Director- Dr. Taruna Gautam, welcomed Dr. Valson Thampu. She also highlighted IILM’s partnership with IBM for offering Programs in Analytics, Big Data, Social- Media and Mobility domains and partnership with Dortmund University of Applied Science and Arts- Germany and the University of Babes- Romania, for the Masters in International Business - Managing Diverse Markets Programme.        Dr. Thampu delivered a very inspiring address to the IILM graduating batch of 2014. He opened the address by asking students to reflect on the word “Joy” & further went on to explain how that word has unfortunately been replaced by “pleasure”. He exemplified 3 objects; Titanic, the unsinkable ship; a cell phone and a television to explain 3 important lessons of life.
