Cosmos Bank's special deposit accounts were released in January as part of the organization's celebration of its founding 107 years ago. The accounts also have special services designed to meet the diverse needs of Indian citizens who are living in the United States and other countries and offer tax free deposits that are fully repatriable.

Cosmos Bank's Special Deposit Accounts offer "doorstep" banking, which includes services like special courier service for the customers. The bank also has strategic alliances with Indian hospitals specializing in elderly healthcare enabling customers to receive medical discounts, and provide access to special group health insurance.

Cosmos Bank's special deposit accounts include:

-- Non-Resident Ordinary Rupee Account - designed for Indian citizens living in either India or a foreign country who need the added flexibility of a bank account that can be closed out in 16 days or more.

-- Non-Resident External Rupee Account - Offers non-resident Indians the ability to close out their accounts in no less than one year

-- Foreign Currency Non-Resident Account - Accepts deposits in US dollars, EUROS and Japanese Yen and can be closed out in no less than one year

-- Resident Foreign Currency Account - Enables non-resident Indians to bring their financial assets, which may be in the form of foreign funds, to India. If the customer leaves India again, the account can be converted to a Non Resident External Rupee Account
