Elfab's Opti-GardT First Rupture Disc Covered by Three-Year Warranty


Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Pressure relief specialist Elfab has become the first manufacturer to offer a rupture disc protected by a three-year warranty. Since its launch in 2004, Opti-GardT has proved so robust and reliable in operation that Elfab is offering a three-year warranty as standard on Opti-Gard T discs supplied after 1st January 2011*.

The Opti-GardT system comprises a reverse-acting rupture disc, a single-design holder with multi-flange compatibility and a non-invasive, ATEX-approved burst detector, Flo-TelT+. Featuring an industry-leading tolerance of only three per cent across a wide range of burst pressures and a 95 per cent operating ratio, Opti-GardT offers the highest performance characteristics available for liquid, gas or vapour applications.

Opti-GardT's performance has allowed the optimisation of process pressures for many of Elfab's customers. Apart from lowering re-supply costs, this has reduced disc inventories by up to 60 per cent.
