The data reveals that the ICC WT20 was a fans favourite, with over 7 Million unique visitors following the game, tracking coverage and the progress of the Indian cricket team on UC Browser, searching for their favourite players and sharing the developments with their friends and family. The India vs Pakistan encounter registered most interest with over 10 million unique visitors following the game on UC Browser as against 8 Million on Facebook.
 
Indian teams progress was tracked. The Indian team remained a fan favourite during the ICC World Cup and the Indian batting super star Virat Kohli was the peoples’ choice cricketer during both the tournaments.
 
IPL 9, however, hasn’t registered the same enthusiasm amongst fans with only 4 million unique visitors looking for scores and other information on the tournament. KKR and RCB remain fans favourite teams this season while between the last two editions of IPL; season 9 saw over 25% increase in user traffic from last year.
