Mafatlal Industries Limited have launched an exciting range of Sarees under the registered brand name “THAVARI” by Mafatlal.The vibrant range will consist of unique printed, floral, geometric and abstract designs in superior qualities of georgette, crepe, Micro x Micro & Poly Cotton with exclusive embroidery and zari hand work themes. The Sarees will be in 25 different qualities and a wide range of colours and designs.
Mr. M.B. Raghunath, President (Marketing & Sales) of Mafatlal Industries stated that Mafatlal is a leader and one of the largest suppliers of Rubia, Poplins, Voiles and Kurta fabrics to major wholesalers and retailers pan India. The overall sales volume of MIL is over 100 million meters per annum. This initial roll-out is an extension of the women wear fabric segment, which will offer more products over a period of few months, with introduction of leggings and lingerie.
The first consignment of Sarees have already been dispatched to exclusive saree dealers / retailers and the initial response was encouraging in terms of the quality, designs, prints and packaging which is attractive and at an affordable price. Mafatlal will organize retailer and consumer promotion, with in-shop branding at retail points of sale, MBO’s and also outdoor advertising.
The appointment of an All India wholesale Distributor / Sole Selling distributor THAVARI Mafatlal & Company at Pandesara – Surat is conceptualized in view of the logistical importance of the ladies fashion capital – Surat. In May 2016 a meeting was held at Surat, where agents, brokers, Mafatlal Family Shops, prospective dealers and retailers were invited to review the product display with a presentation and booking of the range of Sarees.
