Given our sizeable presence here and our market understanding, we expect our ELT products to find a ready market and are excited to be able to offer Indian students, international quality ELT education.”

What’s unique about Macmillan’s Language Learning tools is the flexibility they offer to customers – Macmillan Practice Online and Macmillan English Campus (MEC). MEC is an intuitive language learning platform with graded online material for ELT. Currently there are 100000 students enrolled on MEC and 150 ELT institutions accessing 60 courses. What is different about MEC is the flexibility that it offers institutions to integrate ELT into their syllabus and students to approach learning at their own pace. MPO offers individual students the opportunity to cherry pick ELT courses in General English, Business English and Exams and learn anytime anywhere.

Speaking about the initiative, Emma Bourne, Managing Director, Schools at Macmillan Education said, “For India’s demographics to pay dividends – employability is the key.
