Fujitsu India Private Limited introduces new A3 document scanners, Fujitsu Document Scanner fi-7460 / fi-7480. These scanners are available in the Indian market from today.
With a dimension of 380 x 209 x 168 mm, fi-7460 / fi-7480 are the industry’s most compact scanners in the A3 category. The recommended maximum daily scan volume of 9,000 and 12,000 pages respectively means these scanners are suitable for most desktop tasks – be it a high volume of standard documents or a wide variety of formats.
With fi-7460 and fi-7480, there is no need to purchase other scanners for different purposes, which saves on the cost for scanning operations. These scanners can handle regular A8 to A3 sizes, including plastic cards, and are capable of working with thin and thick documents (27 to 413 g/m
2).
These scanners are equipped with a manual feed mode that enables to scan documents folded in half up to A1 and bound document such as envelopes, manifold documents, and documents with attachment.
These scanners can scan a mixed batch with ease including plastic cards (up to 3 cards).
With the independently moving side guides, small documents can be easily set by aligning them to the side guide.
Skew Reducer detects the alignment of scanned images and corrects paper skews to minimize missing edges of the scanned image.
Paper Protection function delivers reliable scanning with accurate error detection with “Sound detection” and “Paper length detection”. When it detects a paper jam, it automatically stops feeding the documents; thus protecting your important documents from getting damaged.
Automatic Stacker controls the speed of the paper exit with a speed sensor; thus ensuring all your scanned documents are stacked neatly and tidily.
The scanner driver, PaperStream IP (TWAIN, ISIS™), automatically converts scans into extremely clean images without any advance settings. This accelerates post-scan processing such as OCR even when scanning wrinkled documents or documents with a background pattern.
PaperStream Capture saves time to sort and save scanned images with its automated process.
