Sangeeta Kulkarni, Co-founder & CEO, Brickwork India has been presented with the “Most Promising Entrepreneur” award by Enterprise Asia, at a grand event held at the JW Marriott, New Delhi, India. The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) is a recognition for Sangeeta’s outstanding strategic vision and direction in transforming Brickwork India into a global leader in Remote Executive Assistance (REA™) services.
The APEA is often compared to the Olympics for its stringent entry criteria and highly-competitive judging parameters. Nominations to the APEA itself is by invitation after an in-depth selection process. Nominees are subjected to a series of rigorous tests, which include financial verification by an appointed audit firm and a compulsory physical site audit and interview, culminating with a confidential balloting process by an independent judging panel.
The recipients in India were selected from among 150 shortlisted candidates, ranging from talented young entrepreneurs to experienced industrialists.
Other awardees included stalwarts like Mr. Rahul Bajaj of Bajaj Auto Ltd, Mr. Malvinder Singh, founder of Fortis Hospitals and V. Vaidyanathan of Capital First Limited. General V.K. Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs was the Chief Guest and Dato' William Ng, President of Enterprise Asia presided over the function.

She runs CSR initiatives and activities through “Brickwork Pragathi Foundation” which focusses on employability training for underprivileged youth and helps them become skilled and economically independent through long and short term functional and soft skills development programs. The foundation also runs women’s empowerment programs through Self Help Group schemes and provides IT education to rural schools.
