Meet Top Maritime Institutes Under One Roof

95% of India’s international trade by volume and 65% by value is carried via ships. These days lot has been talked about growing job opportunities in the Indian Maritime sector. In India’s Maritime Agenda, the target for the year 2020 is 3,130 million tonnes of port capacity with an investment of around ₹2,96,000 crore. It also states the need to increase the Indian seafarer’s contribution in the world shipping. Union shipping minister Hon Shri Nitin Gadkari ji has also said that maritime sector will create 1 cr jobs in next 5 years.
